If you have read my blog before you know that I have been gone for quite some time. Well, in the words of the great philosopher Lil' Kim "I been gone for a minute now I'm back wit the jump off." Sometimes life forces us to take a moment to rebuild and refresh. It was time to rediscover who Desarée is and what she likes.
For as long as I can remember I have always been in love with fashion. As a child my parents couldn't afford to put me in the biggest name brands but it only made me figure out new ways to make the inexpensive clothing look high-end. I was never concerned with labels as much as I was with expressing myself through my personal style. Now, I can say that I have DEFINITELY evolved when it comes to my personal style and how use it to express who I am. In all honesty I still wonder whatever happened to my favorite Walmart hoodie that I bought in FOUR colors in high school but I thank God for growth.
Recently the designer Marquli sent me a yellow tee and I'm obsessed. Not only is yellow one of my favorite colors but I know it looks great on my skin tone! I paired it with my camel trench from Pretty Little Things, my favorite high waisted black jeans from Hollister (Hollister has AMAZING) jeans, and my head wrap from The Wrap Life.

I'm 55-year-old from Paris, I was diagnosed with second-stage liver cancer following a scheduled examination to monitor liver cirrhosis. I had lost a lot of weight.
